Baby Babble & Toddler Talk are groups for parents with little ones age 0-3 years. Join us each week to get out of the house,
meet other new parents and their little ones, and get valuable information on a variety of topics. Topics include Baby Yoga, Baby Sign Language,
Kindermusik, Daycares, Dental Care, Nurturing with Rhymes, Nutrition, Literacy, Diapers and so much more!
Wednesdays 1:00-3:00pm
Cost is $2/Drop In or $10 for 8 weeks
A trained facilitator is available to come to your daycare, pre-school, or other neighborhood group to share
rhyming songs, games & activities with young children. Sessions are typically 30-60 min in length. We are also working
on a Rhyme Thyme Program to be offered here at the Community Access Centre.

Volunteer tutors work with elementary school students two evenings a week to assist with general school concepts and specific
homework assignments. Lots of games, activities and hands on resources are available to enhance learning and make understanding school concepts more
interactive and enjoyable. Ah-Ha! Club is a free drop in program, come on in and check it out! Parents are welcome to attend with their child.

The Community Access Centre has partnered with the Martensville Messenger and the schools to include articles by local students in each edition of the newspaper. The students learn about writing and reporting, and the process of creating a newspaper. Keep an eye out for these articles each month!
A Storybag contains a book, along with activities, props, and ideas to go with the book. They make reading interactive and fun, and are a great way for caregivers and children to share time together. Drop in to sign up and borrow storybags. We are open Monday to Friday from 1-5pm and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm.
Math bags are a great way to help children develop proficiency in mathematics. Each Mathbag focuses on a specific skill and mastery level,
and contains games, activities and learning tools. They make learning math accessible, easy & fun for children and their caregivers.
Mathbags will be available to borrow from the Community Access Centre soon, or can be used at the Centre during drop in times for the
Ah-Ha! Club. Watch for more information coming soon!

The Community Access Centre can help organize speakers and workshops on a variety of topics of interest to members of our community. If you have a suggestion for a topic that interests you, please Contact Us. We can help contact professionals to share information and resources.
The Community Access Centre regularly hosts public information nights on a variety of topics of interest to members of our communit. Past topics have included: Wills, Estates and Power of Attorney; Buying and Selling a Home; Landscaping; Protecting Yourself from Fraud; RRSP's, RESP's and Taxes; and more. All information nights are free of charge. Contact us if you have an idea for a topic, or would like information from any of our previous topics.
